The current Buchanan Service Company was founded more than 50 years ago by Jerry Buchanan.  Jerry graduated from North Carolina State with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.  After a brief stint working at Bahnson’s in Winston-Salem, NC, Jerry opened his current plumbing business.   

Andy and Jay Buchanan, Jerry’s grandsons, joined the business in 2016 and trained under him until his passing in 2023.  They are now the co-owners and excited to continue the family business.

Our Company Was Founded More than 50 Years Ago

Buchanan has been associated with plumbing going back to the early 1900’s when Milton Rives Buchanan opened a plumbing supplies store on Main Street in High Point, North Carolina.
